Peace in the Park teamed up with ‘Sparkles Events’ in 2009 to create a unique and fun packed children’s area, inlcuding a badge-making workshop, a pre-schoolers and older kids jam sessions with Sheffield Babel Songs,a circus skills workshop, personalised bags workshops with Jonanthan from Zipsafe (a company that sell small cotton fairtrade bags), competitons and loads of other fun activities.
Sparkles Events host a variety of services including Room Decoration, Balloon Art and Themed Evening Parties. Sparkles specialize in Children’s Party Planning and are known to coordinate spectacular childrens areas at events

Hi – just wondered what time the circus skills workshop is for the kids and what age it’s for? Do you need to book?

The circus skills workshop that is in the healing area is from 12 -1 and you don’t need to book. There will be loads of equipment and people on hand to help out. It’s for kids and adults of any age, as anyone can have a go to some extent.
